Hello
Konqueror usually uses kghostscript to view pdf documantation but you
might not have the file associations setttup properly in konqueror or
what konqueror is set to use is broken.
Try this open konqueror click on settings/configure Konqueror/ File
association / expand- +application click on pdf . Usually in the
Application preference order box there is 1. PS and PDF Viewer 2. Xpdf
3. Ggv. If that information is there move Xpdf up the list then try
opening a pdf within konqueror again this time it should open the pdf in
Xpdf.
Basically it sounds like kghostscript is either broken or not installed
on your machine.
