hi I was wondering if anyone had come across the problem of the updatedb command stalling as its doing its thing. Everytime I give the updatedb command it stalls at a directory called /.automount. I have tried the -e exclude option as a way of overcoming this problem but it still tries to index this directory anyway and then stalls. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. cheers jansant
