Yes... this exact same set up works fine on RH7.2 through a Belkin KVM (?)
switch.
I've checked the XF86Config-4 for both the RH and the Deb box.. and as far
as I can see they are the same (for the mouse at least).

that looks terrific and I will look into it.... although i'm not sure how
well it will drive my Macintosh (which is also on the switch) ;-)
Meantime.. i'm still trying to figure out why I can't emulate middle
button pasting. Is there something that RH does that Deb doesn't? I
assumed that this was an X function.. perhaps I'm wrong..
