This is a second attempt at fixing this problem (listed below) I had two people reply, neither of which new what the problem could be.
So pleaseeeeee if anyone can help me, I would be much appreciated.
Incidentally - /usr/lib/apache/1.3/libphp4.so exists on the system.
Any and all help is enormously appreicated.

Subject: help needed please
Hi there
I have recently joined the mailing list and need some help. i have searched the archives and can't find what I need.
Is there anyone out there who has experience installing Debian Linux, Apache, PHP and MySQL onto a Digital AlphaStation 200?
I have installed Debian - no problem.
I have installed Apache
I have installed PHP (together with Apache install)
I have installed MySQL (again together with PAache install)
My problem is that PHP wont run.
I had to edit the httpd.conf file to add the AddType's - no problem
I then removed the # at the beginning of "LoadModule php4_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/libphp4.so"
I then restarted apache and nothing works. PHP doesn't work, HTTP no longer works, nothing. So I added the # back to the "# LoadModule php4_module /usr/lib/apache/1.3/libphp4.so" line and restarted apache - HTTP works again but still no PHP.
Debian is woody
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? I have searched various sites on the net and so far have come up empty.
Thank you kindly
