I spoke to Lisa Mills yesterday (the Editor), and she sent me the
work-around as a Word document.

Not only are there errors in the work-around (which you can get by with
a bit of thought), but it doesn't work as written.

I believe they will *have to* replace CD3 for everyone that wants it
(maybe you post in your CD3 as proof of purchase) - imagine a newbie (or
Windoze user - same thing !!) trying to do the install from a faulty set
of CDs ? They are going to get pissed off really quickly with Linux.

I'm not saying that it's Next Media's fault, as I believe some people
have downloaded the ISO's directly from RedHat and had the same
problems...

Just for academic interest, I spoke to aq contact at Fair Trading today
and explained the situation to him - he is of the opinion that the
product, as it snatds, is "not suitable for the purpose for which it was
intended", and even "not of merchantable quality", and therefore the
supplier MUST make good or give a refund.
