[SLUG] Disc crash

Hi all, Well I loaded Mandrake 8.2 and guess what it crashed my whole system. It was to be a dual boot sys and Mandrake installed OK but it crashed my windows sys to hell and now I have lost 4gb of hard drive that I cannot find. I am trying to reinstall win 98 again but it will only give me 2gb out of the 6 any advice will be greatfully accepted. Paul.
