I know gphoto talks to my camera (kodak dc3400) because I've done it via a serial port.
When I run gphoto and attempt to configure the camera using device /dev/usb/dc2xx0 I receive an error message that says: missing serial device permissions, please check the permissions (see the manual) The manual has nothing about usb in it and the gphoto main screen has an error on the bottom left of the screen saying "failed to open /dev/usb/dc2xx0" the following usb modules are loaded: uhci dc2xx usbcore Any suggestions? -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group - http://slug.org.au/ More Info: http://lists.slug.org.au/listinfo/slug
