I don't want to start a Mine is better than yours thing here but
Mandrake 8.2 fully suports Nvidia stuff from TNT 2 right through to the
GF 4 cards, I have just installed mdk on eight  P4 machines with varying
hardware (one with GF 3) only minor problems nothing a half arsed Linux
geek couldn't fix. (the sis/asus stuff was the biggest pain) I had to
compile a new kernel for that one but Mandrake did install and work but
I had no sound until I patched the kernel.
