You have configured a "slip" interface on your system. You'll need to
back track through what you've done and remove any instances of a slip
interface.

You've got pppconfig setup correctly, as you can connect and get the
right routes once the slip interface has been removed. So once you
remove the slip interface (sl0) from where you've configured it, it will
go away :)
