At the end of each message posted to slug is a link to http://lists.slug.org.au/listinfo/slug - go to the bottom of the page and you will see a section marked "slug Options" which allows you to edit your membership, including unsubscribing. The slug mailing list is an open forum for people to discuss linux issues, ask and answer questions, etc. Most members ask questions and answer them when they can - a community working together.
