Hello slug, PS I've made up a debian based linux distro to build such an AP for the Sydney Wireless project I'm working on... currently builds an ap in about 2 minutes with some dynamic routing and IPv6 support out of the box, as I'm looking to build a no brainer install for ppl to link into the network etc...
