If your using the same monitor the simplest method would be just to edit
one line in /etc/X11/XF86Config-4
type vim /etc/X11/XF86Config-4
press "i"
then look for the section
Section "Device"
Just type in a description of your Video card here eg
Identifier "RIVA GF2"
VendorName "Unknown" (dont need anything here)
BoardName "Unknown" (ditto)
Then the driver
Driver "nvidia"
Beware if you have dont have the nvidia driver (common with the download
version of Mandrake) then put "nv" were I have "nvidia"
then type [Esc] :wq (translates as go into command mode file write and
then quit).
then just run X
