Graham Smith suggestion worked.

"...You should be able to use a brower on any other computer on the LAN to
address the modem on http://192.168.0.1 Just make sure you can configure the
NIC which connects to the modem as a dhcp client.
"

I had 1 nic hard set to 192.168.0.2 (for adsl/external), the other on
192.168.1.254 (for internal) and dhcpd, and NAT. I have 3 other pc, using a
browser on 1, pointed to 192.168.0.1 and up comes the adsl's set up page.
