I use Roaring Penguin PPPoE and have a D-Link ADSL 300 modem. Do I still receive traffic (and incur charges) if my ppp0 interface is down while my modem is on and sync'd ?
Can my provider still send data downstream to me and count it as part of my system usage when I haven't logged on ?
