Hi All,
I have installed wireless cards in two of my servers and have them working
with the orinoco_pci drivers with the 2.4.19 kernel. The problem is that I
am getting the "Error -110 writing Tx descriptor to BAP" error, which from
what I have read is caused by the orinoco drivers not working properly.
This is ok, and I have read that the linux-wlan-ng drivers are better
anyways, so I am attempting to get these working. I have installed the
debian package, however from what I can see I still need to download the
kernel source and compile the drivers with the linux-wlan-ng source?? Am I
missing something?? I don't understand the point of the debian package if
have to compile from source anyways?
Any hints or directions would be greatly appreciated.
Adam.
