Re earlier postconcerning Smoothwall box and clien Mandrake 9.0 box -
problem solved.
Editing of /etc/shorewall/interfaces file required.
unhatched entry "net, eth0, detect"
and hatched entry "net, ppp0 -"
and modified Nic config (using Mandrake Control Center" to set proxy to
"http://127.0.0.0:8118"; for privoxy.
In addition, for some reason Mandrake sees my DLink DFE 530TX+ nic as an
DFE 538TX and uses module "8139too", whereas the driver file from the DLInk
website says it should be "RTL8139.c"
