I don't know if redhat is still shipping with linuxconf - but it lets
you specify a driver for your ethernet card. If it does still ship, just
specify sis900 and it "should work".
If you don't have linuxconf, the change it will make is to add a line
like this to /etc/modules.conf:
alias eth0 sis900
Try that and then ifconfig it and it might just work. (though once the
driver is working, it's probably as easy to use the redhat clicky
programs to set this up so it starts when you boot the machine).
