Hi all, I am trying to set up file sharing between redhat 7.3 and madrake 9.0. both machines have been issued static IP addresses and each has each other's details in /etc/hosts and /etc/hosts.allow. Users have accounts on both machines.
Both machines Ping each other happily and both use the E-Smith server to get out onto the internet. When I try to mount the desired shares, I recieve the error message "Can't find address for <mahine name or ip here>" I recieve this error on both platforms... neither machine will ssh into the other either.
