The LBP printer is a gamble. I know that earlier LBP models did not work but that may have changed. Stay well away from the HP LaserJet 1000, people. :) I have a HP 1100 at work which works fine with Linux. No probs in setting it up at all. Does 600 dpi and it's a nice laserjet.
