Screenrights and the APRA want to impose a tax on blank CD's and DVD's in
Australia to offset loses to "piracy".
If they get their way you'd be able to apply for a refund if you are using the
blanks for "non-infringing" purposes. So much for innocent until proven
guilty.
Classic quote from Screenrights:
"Every kid does it, so let's facilitate some standards in the marketplace."
Funny, last thing I read only about 65% of Australian houses had a PC.
