This is my first posting. I would be grateful for any help.
I have installed a Adaptec AVA1505AE/AI SCSI Host Adapter (as marked on
card) into a Gateway Performance PIII 600 128SDRAM. I am having trouble
getting the card to operate under Linux.
I am attempting to use the card to access a HP Scanjet 4P under Redhat
Linux 8.0 The card and scanner operate when booted into WIN98SE
The Adaptec card utility (run from a WIN98 Boot Disk) shows the
following configuration

Host Adapter SCSI Termination Enabled (greyed out can't change)
