I also had the problem with disks from a different source. The only way I could get it to work on my home machine was to convert the disks to iso images on a hard drive. Then install it using the iso hard drive install option. A bit over the top but the only way it would work. As a note the install work on a few other machine as normal with no problems. Just my home machine gave me the problem.Error: file /mnt/sysimage/var/tmp/zlib-1.1.4.4.i386.rpm cannot be opened. This is due to to a missing file, a bad package, or bad media. Press <return> to try again".
