Is the 'Configured Mouse' what's in the ServerLayout section?  I seem to
recall minor glitches along those lines in Debian's config.  If that's all
good there, then a solid description of what's going wrong (does X start but
the mouse pointer doesn't move, or does X crash out?) along with all (WW)
and (EE) lines from /var/log/XFree86.0.log would probably point the way.
