Is anyone able to help with this problem?

In a nutshell, a system is running Red Hat 7.1. I first used the game of Maelstrom as root, while I was checking the system. As a result, the game will not run for users. I was able to replicate the problem on another machine - same thing happened. If the first time Maelstrom is run, it is run as root, then it will not run for any users.

Thankyou for your assistance.
