Ok your problem is that you are looking at the base of the tree
you don't want users to look that far down.

what we have is a object unit called Contacts that all
users in my org can modify. It's pretty insure that way
but there are two of us.

what you need to do is define the ou you want outlook to
view.
ie (in our case)

ou=Contacts,dc=spinaweb,dc=com,dc=au

your's could look something like this

ou=Contacts,o=spinaweb
