My company (Babel Com Australia) offers a service where we provide
updates via up2date, as well as monitored intrusion detection,
log file monitoring, backup monitoring, emergency recovery, etc.

Yes, we ask people to pay for that.  People occasionally ask
us why we don't provide it for free because it's a free OS but
I usually tell them to sod off.
