In respect to proxies..., we all need to authentic to a proxy to surf (user/pass), i worked out in .bash_profile to add and export HTTP_PROXY. But how do i add user and password?
I dont really want to add it to .bash_profile. Was kind of that seti would prompt me for it. Are proxies and SOCKS related?? Should i use the socks triggers?
Further a .pac file has the proxy script, is there something like HTTP_PROXY that can handle scripts?!
