I ran apt-get install gnome-core the error was Couldn't find package gnome-core
I get alot more error messgaes when I don't comment out the 2.2 reference.
Does this mean that gnome isn't installed anywhere on the system? if I run apt-get install kde I recieve a messgae that kde is referenced but not uploaded.
Why isn't apt-get referencing the 7 cd's it asked me to scan during the installation process (okay they're commented out, but gnome is going to be one of those darn CD's)
