"Reply" will reply only to the sender, that is, privately. "Reply to all" or "Group Reply" will send mail to the sender, and anyone they sent the mail to (in this case, normally the sender and the list). Evolution also has a reply to list function, which it *seems* you can access by right clicking on a message. Many people like you to just reply to the list, rather than reply-to-all, because reply-to-all which will send the original sender two copies - your one and the one that went to the list. See "Replying to Email Messages" in http://www.ximian.com/support/manuals/evolution_10/usage-mail-getnsend-send.html Failing all else, you can press "Reply" and change To: field to read "[EMAIL PROTECTED]", rather than what was there already, but reply-to-list should do this. -Mary -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group - http://slug.org.au/ More Info: http://lists.slug.org.au/listinfo/slug
