Then, assuming I choose '/appl/apache', > I will do, Oscar, thanks, that's precisly what I'd like to have, separate Apache. MySQL, and whatver from the engine room as far as installing Apache and MySQL: do I install from standard install, then, move the releavant dirs to desired location, then, do your symlink things ?
