1: What is the full address the program uses? (Including the http:// part)
2: try running 'killall esd' -- this is the gnome sound daemon (stolen from enlightenment), and apps that dont use it (which is a fare few -- i find even gaim doesnt use it), and then run 'esd &' afterwards.
