Go into your BIOS and change the PCI settings. Some BIOS's have a plug and play setting for all interrupts. Try turning this on or off - opposite from what it is now. Also try reserving the interrupt for the card (if you can find it out) in the BIOS settings - ie set to legacy interrupt or reserved. Sometimes this works. Does the computer hang when the drive is attached to the card? just have the card only in the machine and then boot up. also go into the CTRL+A settings on the card and check what termination is set. have the termination set at the card - such that the card is at the end of the termination and not in the middle. Can you stick a terminator on the card? Also try resetting the card to factory defaults.
Just some ideas,
Ben
