I'm installing RH73 from RH73 CDs ;
when I was installing it, I only had a dial up connection, with aN ISP
required proxy on 8080;
I setup RHN for up2date with the proxy as required by ISP, it worked OK
the machine is no longer on a dial up connection, and, no longer requires a
proxy (but, I suspect, the proxy config might still be somewhere)
Now that the machine has a proper IP/hostname, I wanted to re-register it
with RHN, but , it fails with:
----
rhn-register
A socket error occured: (110, 'Connection timed out'), attem
pt #1
A socket error occured: (110, 'Connection timed out'), attempt #2
A socket error occured: (110, 'Connection timed out'), attempt #3
A socket error occured: (110, 'Connection timed out'), attempt #4
<Tab>/<Alt-Tab> between elements | <Space> selects | <F12> next screen
----
eventually, it comes back with:
----
Red Hat Network Registration (c) 2000-2001 Red Hat, Inc.
Ĵ Fatal Error Ŀ

 Connection timed out

----
any ideas how to clear that..?
