G'day SLUGers, I have 2 question I would like to ask:
Q1. Can linux perform the same behaviour as windows when we browsing other intranet network files? For example, in windows, once we delete some files in compB, the user in compB can see that his files are being deleted right in front their eyes (assume that userB is opening windows explorer and open the same folder that userA wants to delete the files) in linux, using smbmount, once the userB delete the files, I have to smbumount/umount the folder and doing the mounting again, then I can realise that my files are gone. Q2. I'm using RedHat 9 with GNOME installed. How can I install new fonts in my box so that I can use the fonts to change the font in desktop, terminal, mozilla, etc? Best Regards, Phillipus. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? SBC Yahoo!
