I enjoy talks about: * Open Source project status / capabilities / politics in my sphere's of interest: development, networking, home user and corporate desktop replacement, personal digital video records,... the list goes on. * Humour and the lighter side from time to time... In terms of specific talks, I'd -love- to have someone who has built a PVR based around linux, with infra-red onscreen remote, compatible with Foxtel (not replacing the decoder, just replacing my existing VCR) talk about what they needed to do, and how happy they are with the solution. It's on my low-priority todo list to finish investigating the needed hardware, and then start fiddling with one of the projects around, but it's often the case that one can jump start very quickly with exposure to a successful like-project. > I'd also be interested in hearing about what you aren't interested in > hearing about at SLUG meetings. There aren't many topics that I'm not interested in, and the choice of intro or indepth for me will depend on how well I know the topic...
