I have been given a scanner. An Agfa 1212 Snapscan. Parallel port.
I was given it because the previous buyer could not get it to work on his Macintosh system, CD, coarse language, very coarse language and booklet notwithstanding. So I went for a search to see whether I could plug it into the laptop. Not that it seems to matter. Agfa, apparently will not release any information that will enable a driver to be written for Linux. Has anybody else had experience with this model. Or, if it comes to that, with Agfa?
