So, I have a spare machine that I'd like to use as a jukebox, which now has a fat hard drive and sound card. The only problem is, I don't have software!
I'm looking for something reasonably hackable, server-oriented (no display necessary), hopefully handles CIFS/NFS input gracefully, feeds icecast streams (so I can just use a streaming client on my desktop to listen) as well as audio-out. It can't be tied to x86 though, because I could change the arch at any time. :-) Anyone have recommendations?
