I have this Apache on RH73

[Sun Jul 20 04:02:04 2003] [notice] Apache/1.3.27 (Unix) (Red-Hat/Linux) mod_py
thon/2.7.8 Python/1.5.2 mod_ssl/2.8.12 OpenSSL/0.9.6b DAV/1.0.3 PHP/4.1.2 mod_pe
rl/1.26 mod_throttle/3.1.2

the 'mod_ssl', 'OpenSSL' part:

does that mean I can have https/SSL with this ?

I recall from distanat past that to run SSL I need either to purchase
certificate, or, I can self-certify the server.

if i recall, there was a convolouted procedure to create the self-published
certificate; (or, equally painfull process of sending wads of bills to
get a 'real' certificate)

is this still the case, or, can I just uncomment the SSL lines, and, that's
all that's all that needed ? (as someone suggested to me off line)
