This will work with XP Pro to repair the MBR, not sure about XP Home...
or which version you are running.

Boot using the XP CD and press R to initiate the recovery console
You'll need the administrator password after you've selected you XP
installation from the list
Run the command FIXMBR

Note that you'll need a boot disk to access your Linux partition once
this has been run.
