Nautilus refuses to associate my TGA (scanned graphics) files with Gimp.
It tells me it has no viewer capable of opening them. I go through the
rigmarole of associating Gimp as a viewer and application and it still
thinks they are Lotus 1-2-3 files!

I have checked my .mailcap and .mime.type files and added
"application/x-tga tga" to one and "application/x-tga;/usr/bin/gimp %s" to
the other. This does not change Nautilus' behaviour. I am not familiar
with mime-type naming conventions but this seemed consistent with other
entries.
