According to Netcraft's "what is that site running?" Service ( http://uptime.netcraft.com/up/graph?site=www.windowsupdate.com ) , www.windowsupdate.com <http://www.windowsupdate.com> is running MS IIS 6.0 on a linux box as of today. Conspiracy theory or windows update bracing for the MSBlast DDOS?
I dont understand. I didnt think that MS IIS can run on Linux or any UNIX system. It runs on MS Win 2000 servers and things like that.
I checked http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com (as I know that is a MS site) at uptime.netcraft and its indeed reported as IIS on Linux.
So IIS does run on UNIXs then eh?
