I thought this might be interesting to you all. Japan, South Korea and
China are joining forces to develop a new operating system for "smart
devices" such as mobile phones, digital cameras, satNav equipment..., based
on Linux OS. The idea is to break the strangle hold of Microsoft's monopoly
and allow scope for expansion in the IT sectors in the three countries.
