well, it works very well, but, I'm just curious as to the procedures how it gets stuff updated:
if anyone can enlighten me, I'd appreciate: I can run 'up2date' and it fetches the rpm files, then, rpm installs downloaded stuff, and, it just seems to work updating stuff regardless of whether an application or a deamon is in use at the time, if say Apache is working, I'd expect the executable and some libraries to be held open, so, how does up2date and rpm do their magic ? inqusitive minds needs to know, thanks Voytek Eymont -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group - http://slug.org.au/ More Info: http://lists.slug.org.au/listinfo/slug
