sorry, what I'm after is a document/file management
storage/retrieval system, something like a 'document library' where you have
say: categories /subject / author /date /revised, where a user can view or
download /edit/upload a document, like a small library, but not like a
content management.

I tried something a long time ago from a Melbourne company (that wasn't
quite ready back then), and, there was a few others, hence I 'm looking for
feedback from using such a system

thanks, I'll follow that.

what I'm after is scanning single and multi page docs containg text and/or
images, I guess something not unlike Caere's Pagekeeper.
