if there is a typo in your zone file then the following might happen:

query REAL-DOMAIN.COM MX
return TYPO-ERROR.COM
query TYPO-ERROR.COM A
return VERISIGN-IP-ADDRESS

this also breaks tests used in antispam configurations (ie. postfix's
reject_unknown_sender_domain)
