   talks and SLUGlets.

   General Talk
   Daniel Morrison - "Xbox - Bill Gates' Gift To Linux, or, Why 
   Microsoft Want To Lose Money".
   An overview of the 007 / FreeX / Mechassault hacks, mod chips, the
   development of the Xbox, practical applications for your Xbox beyond
   multiplayer Halo, and how to turn your Xbox into a home media centre.

   Special Interest Talk
   Rob Collins - The Arch version control system

   As usual, SLUGlets will be running in another room during the 2nd   
   half of the meeting for those who do not wish to attend the technical
   talk. 
   Suggestions and offers for SLUGlets gratefully accepted by mail to

   6:30pm: Doors Open

   6:45pm: The Usual Suspects
          Q&A - Introduction to SLUG + "What has Linux done for/to me
          lately?" + SLUG News & Discussion

   7:10pm: Elections to SLUG committee
          Election to fill 2 vacant positions in the SLUG committee.

   7:30pm: General Talk
          Daniel Morrison - "Xbox - Bill Gates' Gift To Linux, or, Why
          Microsoft Want To Lose Money".

   8:15pm: Break
          Refreshments in the foyer, for a small covering charge.

   8:35pm: Split into two groups for:

          + Special Interest: Rob Collins - The Arch version control
            system.
          + SLUGlets: quick talks and discussion of Linux and Free
            Software.

   Dinner
          Dinner at Spice Boys (Indian), $20 per head.
