The latest Red Hat up2date can now fetch files from any RHN, yum, or apt
repositories as well as local directories.

If you run Red Hat, grab the latest up2date, up2date-gnome, and rhnlib
from rawhide.

The sources used are in the one file, regardless of repository type.
Check out
/etc/sysconfig/rhn/sources, which includes samples of how to use any Yum
or APT repository.

You can then the command line and Gnome 2 up2date clients, as well as
the alert applet, to fetch and update your favorite third party
packages.

Stoked :^)
