If your an admin you should seriously go on a training course :-), or buy
some books!!

one of the two DNSs is sufficent for your site to show up on the net
again, your toplevel requires two to start a domain, but once it has found
two it should work with one from then on...

You might want to think about getting some real DNS service from someone
or hosting a DNS box, if you are truly making money off this it might be
worth some investment,,,

however I suspect one of those is your primary DNS the one with the zone
records on it, and if the backup hasn't got a copy of those zone records
on it, the words creek paddle and up come to mind..
