I'm reserving my relief or consternation until I see Alston's replacement. Seems ironic that the only sensible piece of legislation he ever tabled was the last one (the anti-spam stuff).... seems he got it right in the end. Pity about all the other BS we've been lumped with (can anyone say "digital television debacle"??). Still it could be worse - imagine Amanda Vanstone taking Alston's seat?!
