only way I can see is 
zip the entire contents of the drive in rescue mode with some linux boot
disks or with knopix
well I'm sorry I'll restate the above to say tar and then gzip my bad,
then repartition that 60 gb drive
and gunzip then untar again with rescue floppies or knopix
and you should be goot to go.
been there done that.
